Terms of Service

We know legal documents can be boring and confusing. We’ve tried to make ours as clear and straightforward as possible. Here’s what you’re agreeing to when you work with us.

Last Updated: January 2025

Welcome to Gemi Tours

First things first: we’re glad you’re here! When you use our services, you’re entering into an agreement with Gemi Tours Ghana, located at 28 Celebrity Avenue, Sakumono, Accra, Greater Accra Region, Ghana.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain what we’ll do for you, what we expect from you, and how we’ll work together to help you achieve your dream of working abroad. By using our services, you’re agreeing to these terms.

Important: Please read these terms carefully. If something doesn’t make sense or you have questions, just reach out to us at workabroad@gemitours.com or WhatsApp us at +233 54 804 2551.

What We Do For You

Here’s what’s included when you work with us:

Job Matching & Placement: We find verified employers who are actively looking for professionals with your skills and qualifications.
Employer Sponsorship: We facilitate the entire employer sponsorship process, including obtaining necessary certificates and documentation.
Visa Application Support: Our immigration team prepares and submits your visa application on your behalf.
Legal Compliance: We ensure everything is done according to the immigration laws of your destination country.
Settlement Support: We help you get settled during your first 30-90 days abroad (depending on your package).

What We Don’t Guarantee

While we have a 90-97% visa approval rate, we cannot guarantee that your visa will be approved. Immigration decisions are made by government officials, not by us. What we CAN guarantee is that we’ll prepare the strongest application possible and guide you through every step with complete professionalism.

What We Need From You

For us to help you successfully, here’s what we need you to do:

1

Be Honest With Us

Provide accurate, truthful information on all forms and documents. Immigration authorities take false information very seriously, and it could result in permanent visa bans.

2

Submit Documents On Time

When we ask for documents, please send them as quickly as possible. Delays on your end can affect your entire timeline.

3

Respond to Communications

Check your email and WhatsApp regularly. We might need quick responses to keep things moving.

4

Meet Your Employer’s Requirements

If your employer asks you to complete specific certifications or training, you’re responsible for getting those done.

5

Pay Your Separate Costs

You’re responsible for government visa fees, flight tickets, medical examinations, and initial accommodation. We’ll guide you, but these are paid directly by you.

How Payment Works

Service Fees

Our service fees range from $3,500 to $6,000, depending on:

  • Your destination country
  • Your job category and requirements
  • How quickly you need to relocate
  • Whether you’re bringing family members

Payment Schedule

We typically work on a milestone-based payment system:

  • Initial Deposit: Due when you sign up with us
  • Second Payment: When you receive your job offer
  • Final Payment: Before visa submission or upon visa approval

The exact payment schedule will be outlined in your service agreement.

Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Bank transfers (local and international)
  • Mobile money (Ghana)
  • Wire transfers

Important Note About Government Fees

Government visa fees, consulate charges, and other official fees are NOT included in our service fee. These vary by country and must be paid directly to the relevant authorities. We’ll tell you exactly what these fees are before you commit.

Our Refund Policy

We want to be completely transparent about refunds:

When You CAN Get a Refund

  • If we cannot find you a suitable verified job placement within 90 days of your initial payment
  • If we determine you’re not eligible for the programs we offer (we’ll assess this upfront)
  • If we fail to deliver the services outlined in your agreement due to our error

When Refunds Are NOT Available

  • If your visa is denied due to issues with your documentation, background, or eligibility
  • If you fail to provide required documents within requested timeframes
  • If you change your mind or decide not to proceed after we’ve already done substantial work
  • If you’re offered a legitimate job but decide not to accept it
  • Once your visa has been submitted to immigration authorities

Refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We’ll always try to be fair and reasonable.

About Visa Applications

Please Read Carefully

We are NOT immigration officers. We cannot approve or deny visas – that decision is made entirely by the immigration authorities of your destination country.

What we DO is prepare your application to the highest possible standard, ensuring it meets all requirements and is submitted correctly. Our 90-97% approval rate shows we’re very good at this, but we cannot control the final decision.

Factors that can affect visa approval include (but aren’t limited to):

  • Your educational qualifications and work experience
  • Your criminal record (if any)
  • Your health status
  • Changes in immigration policies
  • Political or economic factors in destination countries
  • Interview performance (where required)

If your visa is denied, we’ll help you understand why and discuss whether reapplication or alternative destinations make sense. However, visa denial does not automatically entitle you to a refund unless specified in your service agreement.

About Job Placements

Employer Verification

All employers in our network are verified and licensed to sponsor international workers. We check:

  • Valid business registration
  • Sponsorship license (where required)
  • Company reputation and history
  • Compliance with labor laws

Job Offers

When you receive a job offer through us:

  • It’s a real, legitimate position
  • The salary and benefits are as stated
  • The employer is committed to sponsoring you
  • You’ll receive a formal employment contract

Your Responsibility

Once you accept a job offer:

  • You’re expected to fulfill the terms of your employment contract
  • You must perform your duties professionally
  • You should follow the employer’s policies and procedures
  • If there are problems, communicate with both us and your employer

Employer Replacement Protection: If your employer terminates your contract without just cause within the first 6 months, we’ll help you find an alternative placement at no additional cost (subject to visa validity and availability).

What We’re Responsible For

Let’s be clear about what we are and aren’t responsible for:

We ARE Responsible For:

  • Providing the professional services outlined in your agreement
  • Connecting you with verified, legitimate employers
  • Preparing and submitting your visa application correctly
  • Providing honest, professional guidance throughout
  • Offering the settlement support promised in your package

We Are NOT Responsible For:

  • Visa decisions made by immigration authorities
  • Your job performance or workplace disputes
  • Personal problems or lifestyle adjustments in your new country
  • Changes in immigration laws or policies
  • Delays caused by government processing times
  • Issues arising from false or incomplete information you provided

Our maximum liability to you will not exceed the total fees you’ve paid us for our services.

Your Privacy Matters

We take your privacy seriously. Here’s how we handle your information:

What We Collect

We need personal information to process your application, including:

  • Your name, contact details, and identification documents
  • Education and employment history
  • Professional certifications and references
  • Any other information required for visa applications

How We Use It

Your information is used solely for:

  • Matching you with suitable employers
  • Preparing your visa applications
  • Communicating with you about your case
  • Complying with legal requirements

Who We Share It With

We may share your information with:

  • Potential employers (with your consent)
  • Immigration authorities (as required)
  • Our legal advisors and immigration lawyers
  • Government agencies (when legally required)

Our Promise: We will NEVER sell your personal information to third parties. We will NEVER share your details with unauthorized persons. Your data is encrypted and stored securely.

For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.

If You Need to Cancel

We understand that circumstances change. If you need to cancel your application:

How to Cancel

Send a written cancellation request to workabroad@gemitours.com or submit it via WhatsApp to +233 54 804 2551.

Cancellation Fees

Depending on when you cancel:

  • Within 7 days of signing: Full refund minus any work already completed
  • Before job placement: Partial refund based on work done
  • After job offer received: No refund (significant work completed)
  • After visa submission: No refund (process cannot be reversed)

Each case is unique, and we’ll work with you to find a fair solution.

Resolving Disagreements

We hope you’ll never need this section, but if you’re unhappy with something:

1

Talk to Us First

Reach out to your dedicated account manager or email workabroad@gemitours.com. Most issues can be resolved through honest conversation.

2

Formal Complaint

If talking doesn’t resolve it, submit a formal written complaint. We’ll review it within 14 business days.

3

Mediation

If we still can’t agree, we can try mediation – a neutral third party helps us find a solution.

4

Legal Action

As a last resort, disputes will be handled under the laws of Ghana, in the courts of Accra.

Our Commitment: We’d much rather solve problems than fight about them. We’ll always try to be fair, reasonable, and find a solution that works for everyone.

Updates to These Terms

Sometimes we need to update these terms – maybe because of new laws, new services, or feedback from clients like you.

When we make changes:

  • We’ll update the “Last Updated” date at the top
  • We’ll email you about significant changes
  • The new terms take effect 30 days after we notify you
  • If you don’t agree with the changes, you can cancel your service before they take effect
