Terms and Conditions
Introduction
Gemi Tours Agency Limited, located in Accra, Ghana, (hereinafter referred to as “Gemi Tours” or “the Agency”) provides travel and tour services to individuals, groups, and corporate clients. These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Gemi Tours and its clients.
Definitions
– “Client” means the person or entity booking travel arrangements with Gemi Tours.
– “Travel Arrangements” include flights, accommodations, transportation, tours, and other travel-related services.
– “Tour Package” refers to pre-designed travel itineraries offered by Gemi Tours.
Booking and Payment Terms
1. Bookings: Clients must provide complete and accurate information when booking travel arrangements.
2. Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total tour cost is required to secure bookings.
3. Balance Payment: Full payment is due 30 days prior to departure.
4. Payment Methods: Gemi Tours accepts bank transfers, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), and mobile money payments.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
1. Cancellation by Client:
a. More than 30 days prior to departure: 50% refund
b. 15-30 days prior to departure: 25% refund
c. Less than 15 days prior to departure: No refund
2. Cancellation by Gemi Tours: In case of unforeseen circumstances, Gemi Tours reserves the right to cancel or modify travel arrangements. Clients will receive a full refund or alternative arrangements.
Travel Documents and Requirements
1. Passports: Clients must hold valid passports with at least six months’ validity.
2. Visas: Clients are responsible for obtaining necessary visas.
3. Vaccinations: Clients must comply with health requirements for travel.
Liability and Insurance
1. Gemi Tours’ Liability: The Agency is not liable for damages or losses resulting from unforeseen circumstances, including force majeure.
2. Travel Insurance: Clients are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through arbitration in Accra, Ghana, in accordance with the Ghanaian Arbitration Act, 2010 (Act 798).
Client Responsibilities
1. Provide accurate information when booking.
2. Comply with travel requirements (passports, visas, vaccinations).
3. Respect local laws and customs.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana.
Amendments
Gemi Tours reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
